Note 01
A packed eavestrough doesn't announce itself. It just quietly sends water over the edge, down the wall and along the foundation. On the prairies a lot of that water arrives at once, in a spring melt or a summer downpour.

The troughs get emptied by hand and the downspouts get flushed until they actually run clear, so we know the whole run is open and not just the part you can see from the ground.

Everything we pull out gets bagged and goes in our truck — not into a pile behind the garage. And we tell you about anything up there that looks like it won't make it through winter.
